Our annual fall event at the nursery! We'll have our beautiful native plants for sale so you can get a jump start on planting this fall to enjoy next year! We will also have autumn decorations, seed collecting demonstrations and guided tours of the property. Our popular seed discovery game will be back this year for a discount at checkout. Bring the kids to enjoy our leaf rubbing station! Knowledgeable staff will be on hand to answer questions and give consultations for your landscape.
Fall is the best time to plant:
-Roots continue to grow until the ground freezes
-There’s more rain, so less need to water
-Less weed competition
-Plants have time to establish and look great for next year

Amanda's Native Garden will have our beautiful native plants for sale to help you have a healthy garden for pollinators and for you. You can order plants from Amanda's Native Garden before the sale and have them saved for you. Fall Planting & Native Perennial Propagation Workshop

Discover why fall is the best time to plant native species and learn the benefits of growing native plants from seed. Instructor Ellen Folts will demonstrate simple propagation techniques that work with nature, followed by a hands-on activity where participants will sow their own native plant seeds to take home for spring germination.
