Round-leaf Goundel is a marvelous ground cover. It spreads fairly quickly creating a carpet of green beautifully rounded leaves. The golden yellow daisy like flowers bloom for a long period. They attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies making this a plant a great addition to a pollinator garden.

Roundleaf Groundsel spreads by both stolen and seed. The groundcover is thick enough to crowd out and out compete weeds. Groundcovers hold the soil, hold moisture and provide cover for small animal.

Roundleaf Groundsel grows best in moist soil that is well drained but it will tolerate a variety of soil conditions. Grow it is full sun to part sun. I recently used it in a pollinator garden with Summer Phlox, Green Coneflower, Amsonia, Swamp Milkweed and Monarda. It provides the flowers in May to June and then the other flowers preform the remainder of the growing season. Its stunning!
